Be.Social Community Raises $10,053 for Parker’s Platoon to Support Wounded Navy SEAL Bo Reichenbach
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Denver, CO (April 10, 2025) — Be.Social Community proudly announces a $10,053 donation to Parker’s Platoon, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting U.S. veterans. This quarter’s contribution will directly aid Navy SEAL veteran and U.S. Sled Hockey silver medalist Bo Reichenbach in his ongoing recovery and mobility journey.
Reichenbach, a double amputee and Purple Heart recipient, lost both legs above the knee while serving in Afghanistan in 2012. Since then, his path has been marked by perseverance, purpose, and a powerful commitment to inspire others—both on and off the ice. He later competed with the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team, helping bring home a silver medal from the 2017 World Para Ice Hockey Championships.
Bo continues to serve as an advocate for veterans across the country. Whether he’s mentoring fellow service members or speaking publicly about the realities of post-military life, he remains a symbol of what it means to lead by example.
Most recently, Bo underwent multiple shoulder surgeries that have temporarily placed him back in a wheelchair, limiting his mobility and ability to use his prosthetics. The funds raised by Be.Social Community, in collaboration with Bo’s Local VA, Parker’s Platoon, and Social Cannabis Dispensary, will go toward refitting his prosthetics, updating critical adaptive gear, and supporting specialized physical therapy as he works toward his ultimate goal: getting out of his wheelchair and returning to independent movement.

Founded by former NHL enforcer Scott Parker and his wife Francesca, Parker’s Platoon provides one-on-one support to veterans transitioning to civilian life. Services include emotional counseling, adaptive equipment, and wellness assistance tailored to each veteran’s unique needs.
This donation was made possible through the Be.Social Community Giving Program is an innovative initiative from Social Cannabis Dispensary that fosters collaboration with industry brands to make a positive impact on the community. 50 cents from every unit sold of Dixie, Batch, Harmony, Wana, Sano Gardens, Eureka, Spherex, Green Dot Labs and Mighty Melts at each Social location is donated. Every quarter, the Be Social Community Program allocates the accumulated proceeds to support local non-profit organizations.
