Moon Men Visions: Where Cannabis Becomes Classy

I will never forget the moment I saw the Moon Men Visions booth at CannaCon. I made a hard stop and swift redirection because shiny, beautiful, and cannabis-related will activate my lizard brain–and I must look! I’m not sure if my enthusiasm was what he expected but one particular piece grabbed me by the heart and refused to let go. A few weeks later said piece along with several others found their way to my home and has since found a place on my stoner wall of glory!
Who is Moon Men Visions?
Joe and Jeff are the masterminds behind Moon Men Visions. Before that, they were college students: Joe working in hospitality, and Jeff working in construction. Then COVID-19 happened and they started woodworking, “One day we had the thought of making a wood rolling tray and the ideas just kept growing from there!” Jeff stated.
Now they make eye-catching hand-made rolling trays and other stoner toking accessories like dug-outs, ashtrays, dab picks, etc, but in a way that brings the luxury feel a little closer to the average consumer. Now that you know about the vision behind the trays, let's get to the good stuff!
Seeing the Vision
These are not your average, everyday rolling trays. These are high quality, meant to last, and much like an FNM Cover, these are gorgeous pieces of art first. Then you look a little harder and OMG - it's a rolling tray too!! I find it almost impossible when I pull these out to do anything except stare and listen to my heart sing.
Outside of being beautiful, they are solid wood, so very dense and heavy compared to the standard metal rolling trays I'm used to. Something about that heavy, quality feel give it the vibe of turning into a family heirloom. I have to say I’m legitimately excited to one day pass these pieces along to my kids and eventually my grandchildren.
They have a variety of hand-made products made of wood and resin, creating awe-inspiring designs that make you stop in your tracks to get a better look. They have a shimmery sparkle that pulls you in, and the silky-smooth surface seals the deal. There is nothing more disrespectful I can imagine than your rolling tray giving you a splinter while you're in the zone. That is not a worry here at all, but you may feel bad if using it for less-than-stellar bud.
How Much Does Moon Men Visions Cost?
The pricing can vary a bit depending on what you're looking for, but be ready to spend anywhere from about $20–$200, with a couple of their more intricate pieces being in the $300–$400 range. When you’re looking at how long these will last and the value of handmade products, it's clear these are investment pieces. They would also make great gifts, or use it as an excuse to get yourself something nice. Either way, these aren’t your average everyday pieces; they have a presence and a sense of legacy sprinkled in with the sparkle of the resin.

1. Tree of Life
This rolling tray was the one that took a piece of my heart when I saw it. All the edges are perfectly smooth and evenly round, no rough spots or splintered edges. It gives you plenty of spots to hold your cones if that's your thing, as well as space for your clipper, lighter, papers, and glassware if that's the vibe. The main rolling space is 10”x6.5” and about ¼ inch depth to keep the flower where it belongs. The dark finish makes the resin design even more stunning! This was–hands down–one of my top favorites.
2. Green Leaf
This rolling tray has the same smooth and perfectly even finish as all their pieces, but with a lighter color. It gives you space to store your papers, cones, clippers, and lighters while also giving 8.5”x 6” of rolling space with the ¼ depth to keep it contained. The resin is a gorgeous mix of deep green, blue, and a copper color all with the shimmer I love. It’s the perfect personal rolling station for those who like to keep it simple like me, but like the bougie feel.

3. Dab O’Clock
The star of this piece is the purple resin for sure. Not only is it a trippy mix of blues, pinks, and copper, but in photos it shines like a full galaxy has been encapsulated in this tray. It offers a 5” diameter so it can handle even your beefy glassware. The three additional spaces are 2.75” and 2”x1.75” so perfect for holding your smaller pieces, or of course some top-notch dabs. You also get a smaller 5”x3” tapered rolling space with cone/bunt holders, and a throne for your dab tool.
4. Charcuterie Board of Cannabis
This piece came with a beauty mark and I think the knots in the wood give them so much character. This piece feels lighter than you might expect but still feels very sturdy, and I’m stoked to showcase it at a stoner game night. Besides the 2 glass stash jars and dab throne, you also get a hiding spot for papers, flower, edibles, your secrets, really whatever you want. The biggest space is ¼” deep and 5.5”x5.5” with a bonus place to tuck in your zippo. There's also a secondary rolling space–because sharing is caring–and that gives you an additional 6.75”x2.75” for a friend to help. It also gives a space 2” in diameter and 2” deep to store your torch.
5. Dug-Outs
The dug-outs were other pieces that caught my attention, because I didn’t realize that's what they were until further inspection. That's when I realized it's a stealth stash and it's like 2 presents in one. It comes with all the accessories you need–minus the flower of course. The red and blue one found a place on the shelves in my living room with my favorite ashtray. I know these are supposed to be used but I don’t know that I can bring myself to do it. The deep blue makes it feel mysterious and enticing all while making you stop and say “ooooh.” I’m more likely to be mesmerized by the sparkle while my ash flies away in the wind.
Rolling it up!
I think part of me just loves the nostalgia of woodworking. My parents made custom furniture when I was a kid and the smell and feel of handmade wood products sweeps me away to childhood.
One little extra note to add here, because these are handmade, no two will be exactly alike. They will each have their differences, albeit small, each piece is unique. They do a great job creating pieces that make my inner child giddy and adult me amazed all at the same time.
These are–to date–the best stoner accessories I have, but they nudge me to place a higher value on unique, handmade pieces. Maybe even expand my glass selection next. Joe and Jeff are down-to-earth super-dope people who are taking your everyday sesh a level higher.
