Nearly a month after MJBizCon 2024, The James Bong: Cannabis Royale is still the talk of the industry. With world-class entertainment, top cannabis brands, dazzling burlesque performances, and unforgettable high vibes, this exclusive after-party set the bar for future cannabis events.

Hosted by Cova Software on December 4th, the event kicked off ‘Weed Week’ during MJBizCon in Las Vegas, bringing together over 500 cannabis industry leaders for an iconic night of Bond-inspired glamor and meaningful connections.

“We’ve hosted some incredible MJBizCon after parties over the years, but the Cannabis Royale really took it to the next level,” said Gary Cohen, CEO of Cova Software. “It was truly a one-of-a-kind celebration of the cannabis industry. Thank you to our amazing partners, sponsors, and attendees for making it all possible!”

Stepping into the World of Casino Royale

The moment guests arrived, they were transported into the glamor and thrill of a Bond movie. At the entrance, a sleek Solink-branded Aston Martin greeted guests, turning heads and creating a unique photo-op.

“Our branded Aston Martin at the entrance was the perfect centerpiece of the party and was totally fitting for the Bond-inspired vibe of the night,” said Cal McDonald, Solink’s Territory Manager for Cannabis. “With our team dressed in matching tuxedos, we brought the Bond theme to life and ensured Solink made a lasting impression!”

The evening unfolded like a scene from Casino Royale—twinkling lights, lively music, intimate conversations, and surprises around every corner. Dressed in stunning gowns and sharp tuxedos, guests walked the red carpet into a multi-sensory experience. Cozy outdoor firepits offered a laid-back atmosphere, with many lighting up a joint and mingling with other cannabis industry leaders.

“The evening was a perfect blend of elegance, innovation, and inspiration. It was an honor to connect with industry leaders and visionaries who are shaping the future of cannabis,” said well-known cannabis industry influencer Thunder Walker on Instagram in a post recapping her experience. “Events like this remind me why I love being a part of such a dynamic and forward-thinking community. Cheers to everyone who made the night truly spectacular!”

License to Thrill: The Bond-Worthy Entertainment

The evening's entertainment captivated guests with unforgettable performances and interactive experiences. Tonya Kay, one of the world’s few artists to perform in a giant champagne glass, delivered a breathtaking acrobatic routine that left the crowd stunned. Immersive Bond-inspired burlesque routines further fascinated guests, while a live band ensured the dance floor stayed active late into the night.

The fun didn’t stop there. Guests flocked to the WECO-branded gaming room, a Casino Royale-inspired parlor complete with casino tables and video games, offering a thrilling way to engage in some friendly competition.

“Our WECO-branded casino room was a hit!” said Jeanette Carroll, COO of WECO. “The gaming tables were busy all night. What a fun and unique way for people to interact with our brand!”

Spy-Level Luxury and Unforgettable Surprises

Guests were treated to more than just world-class entertainment—every detail was designed to elevate the Bond-inspired experience. Exclusive goody bags featured premium cannabis products, branded swag, and even some of Q’s favorite gadgets. Attendees explored signature cannabis samplings, featuring delicious gummies and spritzers from Green Elevator Cannabis and refreshing seltzers from Noble Labs

Late-night cravings were satisfied by a gourmet pizza food truck, while the Carrot-branded shots bar kept the drinks flowing throughout the evening. Guests mingled at the Spenser kiosk, captured unforgettable memories at the 360-photo booth, and in an unexpected twist, were given the rare opportunity to feed alpacas—a surprising addition that made the night even more memorable.

The party kept going inside with multiple open bars, a dazzling 420-themed James Bong ice sculpture perfect for photo ops, and iconic movie clips from classic Bond films projected on the wall. Passed hors d’oeuvres and a munchie bar rounded out the indulgent experience, leaving no detail overlooked.

“Cova really knows how to throw a party,” said Tony Gallo, party attendee and Managing Partner of Sapphire Risk Advisory Group. “From the entertainment to the atmosphere, everything was perfectly executed.”
