The Ohio Cannabis Health and Business Summit: A Transformative Experience for the Industry
Written By Dustin Hoxworth
One of the obvious things that stood out at this year’s OCHBS was the number of attendees. From what I was told, attendance was up this year while it was down at other events in the state. The summit was filled with professionals from all corners of the cannabis industry who were there to connect, share insights, and build relationships. Everyone seemed to be excited to exchange ideas and explore potential collaborations, and you could actually feel the energy in the room.
The Evolution of Hall of Flowers: An Interview with Rama Mayo
Written By Leah Cerri
“The show has to evolve as the industry evolves. Every year, we talk to all our exhibitors after the show to get their feedback. They said we really have the B2B side dialed in and have been asking us what else we can do to support their customer sales and help them connect to their consumers. Day two now provides them with the opportunity to talk and sell directly to their customers, face to face. You don’t get to do that in dispensaries and via your distributor.”
The Revelry Buyer's Club: Gathering Together the New York Cannabis Industry

A clear trend at this year's show was the emphasis on product innovation, notably with the move towards more advanced cannabinoid profiles and full-spectrum products. Many brands showcased infused pre-rolls and full-spectrum rosin and resin offerings in response to increasing consumer demands. Consumers are increasingly seeking products that boast full-spectrum cannabinoid profiles, and Revelry gave brands a chance to show off their newest creations.
Sunstone Winery and Sunstone Cannabis Official
Written By Kellie Frederick
Driving up the gravel path to Sunstone Winery, the sound of the city drops away. The most prevalent sound in the air is bird song. There's peace and quiet, a natural beauty enhanced by the rows of grapevines sleeping, waiting to come to life just as spring is about to emerge. The entire estate is jaw-droppingly gorgeous.
CannaCon South 2024 Recap

If you’re looking to make deeper connections a little faster, this is the event to go to. They aren’t big and showy but they focus on keeping the events small in order to let each region evolve and become more of an experience rather than just another cannabis event. It is a much slower intentional feel and you get that from the vendors as well, many of which have been there for several years in a row. It’s a nice change of pace and I think they deserve way more attention than they get.
Frankfort Finally Gets NORML: The Inaugural Kentucky Cannabis Conference March 2024
Written By Dan Isenstein
Spanning 3 days, March 7-9, the conference featured 26 exhibitors/presenters and attracted over 145 paid attendees. That included healthy attendance from legislators and state regulatory employees making use of free admission, and it is safe to say that the inaugural Kentucky Cannabis Conference was an unqualified success.
Hall of Flowers 2024

Ventura is a true California beach town with a cool, retro vibe and the fairgrounds are located next to the beach. The open-air buildings let the sea air flow through with plenty of sunshine for the attendees to relax outside, get to know each other, sesh with friends, and colleagues, and of course, make the deals. The outside lounge area was a nice touch with comfy chairs, sofas, and coffee tables. The setting is casual but focused, so no one feels rushed or herded through massive convention hall floors.
Sunstone and Budist: Wine, Cannabis, and Community
Written By June Blankin
The Fat Nugs Team was fortunate to spend a few days at Sunstone getting to know the staff and meet many locals of Santa Barbara and the surrounding area. I was enchanted by the spirit of community for the people, wine, and cannabis industry. They support each other in creating a world-class destination of locally grown and locally produced products that are second to none. Teddy and Djamila have something very special with Sunstone with plans for more wine and cannabis events and cannabis-only events in the future.
